Best pub on campus, with a more traditional feel compared to anywhere else nearby. As well as a great mix of students and locals. Lovely atmosphere and welcoming staff, with more quiet, conversational vibes perfect for a mature student like myself. Will often pop in after lectures for a drink, usually served by Bella or James who are both lovely. It's always a pleasure to feel so welcomed. Fantastic pub to stop in for a quick drink or with a night with friends, chatting and socialising. Plus pub quizzes on Wednesday's!

Fantastic pub staff absolutely fabulous friendly welcoming managers Joanne and Dan best people u could ever meet warming very friendly and so lovely and Joanne does the best Christmas tree that u will ever see

Really good price for real ale, nice staff and decor. It's in the student area of Liverpool and gets very busy at weekends but that always adds to the character of any pub. We was happy it was quiet today though as we just fancied a quiet pint and some good conversation :)
